Irish eyes were definitely smiling among this lovely group of ladies yesterday evening ....and the craic was mighty. Gillian and her Irish friends were making the most of their Marbella weekend, in spite of the showers.
They decided to have Private Chefs in to their rented villa to cook for them, and chose us. Celebrating "What a wonderfull life" they had picked out their own menu which we served Buffet Style on the terrace. It all went down a real treat. Safe journey home girls.
Judith, her daughter and 8 friends from Yorkshire and Lancashire chose to celebrate her 60th birthday at a villa in Benalmadena on Saturday night. They asked us to do our famous Barbecue Menu with a selection of canapes to start. They loved the idea that they could sit down and leave all the food preparation to us. Desserts were chocolate cheesecake and creme brulee. They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A great fun group of ladies.
Susie, (pictured above) came to Marbella two weeks ago for a long weekend with a group of 7 Scottish childhood friends all turning 40 this year. They asked us to cater their special party. This day was her own birthday and they celebrated in style. We served them mixed tapas, followed by both Paella Mixta and our Deluxe Vegetarian Paella. Desserts were........ meringue tower with butterscotch sauce and chocolate fudge birthday cake. They loved it. A fabulous group of girls. Happy Birthday to them all.

Linda (above) brought 16 of her friends for her great Marbella Hen weekend that was packed with all sorts of great experiences. They rented a massive villa in Elviria (which belonged to an ex football player) and partied for the whole weekend. On Friday afternoon we did a Paella party for the girls....some where still arriving from the UK. Starting with Gazpacho....then the Paella (we managed to knock up a quick small veggie paella as well as Linda had not realized that we would need one for a couple of the girls.) Then to finish the famous Crema Catalana (Spanish Creme Brulee). It all went down very well.
The following day we cooked and served our Famous Barbecue for all the girls. This was accompanied by the fabulous Sam....his voice and music just added to the great food and atmosphere.
Two fabulous afternoons!
